Welcome to AISA GISS 2026
Your Story, Your Voice!
We’re thrilled to open our doors to students from across Africa for three days of fresh ideas, collaboration, and shared purpose. GISS is about more than sessions and speeches. It’s about connecting with people, sharing stories, and exploring what change can look like.
This year, we’re gathering in Zambia, the heart of Africa. Guided by the theme "Your Story, Your Voice" and inspired by the concept of Triple Well-Being, an empowering idea about balancing care for yourself, others, and the planet, we’ll explore how each of these elements can help us create real change.
At AISA GISS, your voice matters. The stories you tell, the insights you share, and the impact you make all come together here! We’ll listen, learn, and collaborate in a space where everyone’s contribution counts.
Join us in Zambia to share ideas, build connections, and create something that lasts!
Your Story, Your Voice
The theme for AISA GISS 2026, “Your Story, Your Voice” celebrates that your experiences and perspectives are both unique and valuable.
Your story shapes your identity, your passions, your past, and how you see the world. This element reflects our diverse cultural backgrounds, encouraging each of us to share distinct ideas and points of view.
Your voice is how you tell that story to others. We believe the concept of voice matters because it represents action, engagement, and ways of establishing meaningful connections.
When your story and your voice come together, they help you express who you are, connect with others, and make an impact. The focus on “you” highlights the importance of sharing personal thoughts and ideas.
